Children are amazing. But what would happen if one of your children had an accident? If they are uninsured, will your savings cover a trip to the emergency room?
To keep them healthy and strong there's Healthy Kids and MIChild. These programs for Michigan's uninsured children provide comprehensive health coverage. This includes dental and vision care in some counties.
If your child qualifies for MIChild, you pay a monthly premium of only $10. Even if you have more than one child, you pay only $10 a month and there are no co-pays or deductibles.Healthy Kids is a program for pregnant women, babies and children under 18. Families that qualify for Healthy Kids do not pay premiums or deductibles, but some HMOs may charge small co-pays.
This is Representative Bert Johnson reminding you that you can apply online at healthcare, the number 4, mi.com. To get a paper application, or to ask questions, call 1-888-988-6300.
